We would like to introduce you to Cornerstone Baptist Church.
If you are looking for a place where you can strengthen your relationship with God and find friends who offer encouragement and support, we invite you to Cornerstone Baptist Church.
What is the length of the services?
Each service lasts for about 1 and 15 minutes.
What takes place during Sunday morning Community Groups?
After our Sunday morning services, we take a few minutes for coffee, breakfast snacks, and fellowship before we meet in smaller group settings (15-20 people per group) to dig just a bit deeper into the truth taught from our morning service. Through carefully presented questions, thoughts, and corporate prayer, everyone can participate and contribute in edification one with another.
What is the Sunday morning worship service like?
The Sunday morning worship service consists of congregational singing, musical testimonies, scripture reading, prayer, and a sermon. The service revolves around our time in God's Word together.
What should I bring or what should I wear?
If you have a Bible, you would be comfortable bringing it with you. If you need a Bible, the church does have Bibles provided. Although there is not an official dress code for church services, our members come dressed realizing that they are in the service to worship our holy God. You will find a variety of appropriate attire at the services. Our focus will be on the heart and attitude of proper worship.
Will there be something for my children?
Yes, we have Sunday School classes specifically geared to children and teens. We have a separate service for children up through the third grade so that they can be taught at their level during the Sunday morning service. We also have special programs for school-aged children during our Wednesday evening instruction time. (See our "Ministries" drop-down link.)
At Cornerstone, we endeavor to exalt the Savior, Jesus Christ, as we both edify and educate the saints of God. We also strive to proclaim the good news that Jesus came to save poor sinners like you and me. With these inspirations in mind, we desire to accomplish through our ministries three basic goals (our aspirations) that we believe will benefit all who call Cornerstone home, and for our visitors as well. It is our desire that all will be... Growing in Grace, Grounded in Truth, and Going in Love.
