The Motivation of a Heart that is Sanctified
Vigilance Required
by Pastor Ken Endean (Jul 25 2010)
Series: Nehemiah
A sincere decision does not guarantee a sanctified life. Nehemiah had left Jerusalem, and while he was gone it didn't take long for there to be spiritual decline in Jerusalem. The people compromised in four areas. They compromised in their companions. They kept back what should have been given in the collection. They secularized the Sabbath. They corrupted the covenant of marriage. Vigilance is required so that sincere decisions also become part of sanctified living.
