Meet Our Pastors
Pastor Ken Endean
Pastor Ken Endean was born and raised in Michigan where his father pastored. When he was five years old, his mother shared with him the plan of salvation, and he trusted the Lord as his personal Savior.
Pastor Endean completed his BA in Bible and MA in Pastoral Studies. His ministry opportunities during those years in college included serving five years as a college dormitory supervisor and spending one year with The Wilds Evangelistic Team.
In 1989, Pastor Endean went to First Baptist Church of Troy in Michigan where he served as Youth Pastor for seven years. While there, he organized many youth mission trips and also took classes in a Master of Divinity program. Then in 1996, God called him to Pastor Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Pastor Endean serves on the Board of Directors for the American Association of Christian Schools and is the President of the Maine Association of Christian Schools.
He and his wife, Judy have been married since 1987 and have three children, Kristopher, Timothy, and Katelyn. His life verse is Philippians 1:20, "According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life or death."
Pastor Rob McIlwaine
Pastor Rob McIlwaine was born and raised in the Chicago area. He made a profession of faith when he was young out of pressure to accept what his family had done. It wasn't until the end of his junior year in high school that he genuinely accepted the Lord as his personal Savior.
After one year in a Christian college, Rob realized God's call to full time Christian vocation. He completed his degree and was called by First Baptist Church of Troy in Michigan to teach in the Church's school called Bethany Christian School. After a few years, he was asked to be the Dean of Students. Years later, when the school's administrator was called to pastor another church, Rob was asked to become a part of the pastoral staff and take on the administrative duties of the school.
After serving for 19 years in Michigan, Cornerstone Baptist Church called Rob to assist with the duties of the church. Rob is an assistant pastor, working primarily with children's and teen's ministries. He also is the administrator of Cornerstone Baptist Academy.
He and his wife Dana have been married since 1988 and have three children, Kyle, Neil, and Elise. His prayer for God's people in the church is Paul's prayer in Colossians 1:9-10 where it says, "For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;"
